Welcome to CDC Dhanbari

CDC Dhanbari is a Unique Consultation and Diagnostic Centre located at Dhanbari Upazila Head Quarter and municipality town under Tangail district of Bangladesh. Its primary services will be kept limited to consultation and laboratory investigations only. In future, other facilities could be included with its main stream like emergency medical service, hospitalization and surgical operations.

Enhance healthier and economically productive life to the people who seeks health services from the CDC Dhanbari.

To provide basic and comprehensive health care services (preventive, promotive, restorative and curative) to the people.
To provide affordable services to the people compare to other equivalent diagnostic centers or private hospitals of the locality.
To give high priority to patients health irrespective of their economic and social status.
To maintain high quality of services with honesty, dignity and utmost sincerity.
To provide free medical services to the poorest of the poor, War wounded, physically handicapped and economically insolvent Freedom Fighters (Mukti-Joddhya) of Bangladesh.

Our Services

1. Consultation

Skin & VD, Allergy, TB & Chest Diseases, Leprosy & Filariasis, ENT, Gynae & Obs, Maternal & Child Health

2. Laboratory Services

Blood, Stool, Urine, X-ray, ECG, USG and all others.

3. CDC Pharmacy

Retailers of all national and foreign medicines. The trained pharmacist will brief about the usages of purchased drugs from CDC pharmacy.

4. Cafeteria

Resting place for doctors, MPOs and their supervisors of pharmaceutical companies who visit CDC.Free tea and coffee is available for them on self-service basis.

5. Bed and Breakfast(BnB)

Night halt facilities with breakfast is available for doctors, personnel from pharmaceutical companies and other visitors. Advance booking is required either by physical presence or by phone call upon payment through bkash or any other cash transfer system.

6. CDC Auditorium:

A modern auditorium with roof top MM Projector, Laptop, PA system with facility of 150 seat for training, seminar, meeting and workshop. Advance booking is required.

Question: What stands for CDC ? How was it named ?
Ans.: CDC stands for Consultation and Diagnostic Center.
CDC Atlanta is a world wide renowned name which stands for Centre for Disease Control and Prevention. CDC of Directorate General of Health Services, Bangladesh is meant for Communicable Disease Control. I had opportunity to know both CDC while working with CDC, DGHS, Dhaka. Since then, I loved both organizations. From this loving point of view of both CDC, I intended to create another lovely name "CDC Dhanbari" as my birth place is at Dhanbari under Tangail district of Bangladesh.

Questions: Does CDC admit patient?
Ans. : Not at this moment. We have facilities only of Lab. investigation and consultation right now. We intend to admit patient in near future.

Question: How can I have the serial number for consultation ?
Ans.: You can call to our hotline numbers or e-mail to us.

Question: Is it open for every day?
Ans.: No. Currently it remains open only on Friday from 03:00 PM till 10:00 PM. We are going to keep it open every day soon from 08:00AM to 09:00PM.
